What is Executive Coaching?

Executive coaching is a widely used term that refers to individualised guidance provided by an external coach, consultant, or mentor. It aims to address an individual's challenges and requirements within the context of real-world business dynamics within an organisation. Our approach to relational coaching serves as a bridge between you, the client's personal identity and your professional role, emphasising the importance of the relationship between the coach and the client. This approach is explained as follows:

• 40% - Client Factor: This encompasses attributes such as openness, optimism, motivation, and the presence of a strong support network, whether through friendships, family, or participation in religious communities.

• 15% - Expectancy: This refers to the client's hope and belief in achieving their goals, often inspired by the guidance and support provided by the coach.

• 15% - Utilisation of Models, Theories, Tools, and Techniques: This portion involves the application of various frameworks, theories, and practical tools to facilitate the client's progress and growth.

• 30% - Relationship Factor: The quality of the relationship between the coach and the client significantly influences the coaching process. Through empathy, respect, genuine interest, and a shared understanding of the objectives, this aspect fosters trust and mutual collaboration in determining the direction of the coaching journey.

Feel free to take notes as needed and honour any agreements made during sessions. 

• Contribute to discussions with honesty and openness. If something isn't working for you, please communicate it. 

• Voice any concerns or problems you may have during the sessions.

• If you understand the reasons behind a problem, please share your insights.

 

Format of sessions:

• Sessions will be conducted virtually using either Zoom or MS Teams, based on your preference. 

• The full package consists of six one-hour sessions, spaced at intervals of 3 to 4 weeks, or alternatively, four sessions lasting 1.5 hours each.

• The half package includes three one-hour sessions, scheduled with intervals of 3 to 4 weeks per session, or adjusted to two sessions per week as needed. 

• Please note: Before the formal sessions begin, there will be a complimentary 30-minute introductory meeting with the coach to establish rapport and discuss objectives.
